It is important to be specific when it comes to identifying the target market. Not doing so will lead to discovery of problems halfway through the process. The mistake is that some marketers will only check for which products are to be sold and who are the buyers, ditching the thought that they would also need to ask on how the product would benefit them. Lastly, a possible problem is the exposure. Your successful target market identification process will be useless if you won't introduce your business to everyone or the targeted consumers. If you are sure of the target market, then you should not worry about investing on advertisements for the people to be aware of the product and the brands presence. To let the people know that your business exists, you can try TV, magazine and newspaper ads. Make sure that your products will be sold on different leading stores and retail shops. You can also make use of different online advertisements.
